The Oak Tree-Applegarth PTA was established in May of 2009. The main objective of the PTA is to provide funds necessary for programs, activities, and materials needed throughout the year. The PTA provides assembly programs, various family events such as Trunk or Treat, Ice Cream Bingo, Movie Nights, and a Father/Child event. Other fun events during the school day include Holiday Shop, Book Fair, and Field Day. School supplies like assignment books and folders are also funded by the PTA.
The PTA provides an opportunity for you to get involved in your child's education. Parent volunteers help provide needed services throughout the school year. Some volunteer opportunities are for short term (participation is for a few days or weeks) while others are on-going commitments throughout the school year. Opportunities to volunteer are available to fit every schedule. Please consider signing up to volunteer. Fill out a Committee Sign up Form and send it into school with your child.
